Behavior Analysis

What is Behavior Analysis & Why is it important for my child?

Behavior Therapy or Behavior Analysis focuses on finding and using the best techniques to increase, decrease, or otherwise change behavior based on the needs of the client/parent.  Our company focuses on positive reinforcement, when a behavior is followed by some sort of reward, the behavior is more likely to be repeated. This increases useful behaviors and reduces those that may cause harm or interfere with learning. The sooner your child is evaluated and receives a diagnosis, the quicker they can succeed. Our licensed therapists work with you to develop a family-centered plan ensuring your child's success.

Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts live right here within our community. With years of experience working with pediatric clients, they have proven strategies to develop the best plan tailored to your child's unique needs.

Behavior Analysis is proven to assist in:

  • Basic skills such as looking, listening and imitating

  • Complex skills such as reading, conversing and understanding another person’s perspective

  • Developing language use, communication skills, and also build on current conversation

  • Improving functional language, while also working on more conversational or social language between peers

  • The child’s social development, showing improvement with peer interaction, engaging with peers, and social play

  • Classroom benefits including progress in both fine and gross motor development, increased focus and attention, class participation, social integration with classmates, and improved organizational skills

  • Behavior modification is a common target in ABA Therapy, showing improvement in functional, appropriate behaviors and a decrease in undesired or inappropriate behaviors
